Event Description Leadership - Follow the Giraffe
with Vicky Trabosh

John Maxwell said, “A leader knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.”  What if as a leader, you’re not sure of the way?  Vicky knows that leading well every day begins with knowing ourselves well.  In this entertaining and informative discussion, Vicky will weave in the lessons from her work in Rwanda, her acronym of G.I.R.A.F.F.E., and allow each audience member to define their own leadership style and strengths.  All will leave this session not only having a greater understanding of themselves, but of leaders in general and goals they can immediately implement to improve their own leadership.

About our speaker:
An Executive Coach and Speaker since 2003, Vicky Trabosh works with C suite leaders, executives, lawyers, business owners and teams, who, as she says, “want to become their personal best and then they will change the world!”

Vicky has a degree in accounting from Indiana University and is a graduate of Coach University.  She has 34 years of corporate and entrepreneurial experience in manufacturing, banking, guardianships and conservatorships.    She is a featured columnist for the international coaching magazine CHOICE, and has just finished her first book, Dead Rita’s Wisdom, simple words to help you live an extraordinary life coming out in the next few weeks!  She also has a weekly radio show called Smart Women Talk which can be found at www.smartwomentalkradio.com .

In addition to her business, she co-founded an organization to change and support the country of Rwanda.  This organization, the Itafari Foundation, began in September 2005.   She has traveled to Rwanda eight times in six years and just returned from her latest trip.  She had the honor of speaking at the United Nations in 2006.  In all she does, she understands that ordinary people will accomplish the extraordinary.

Whether she is speaking in the United States or in distant lands from Russia to Rwanda, she brings a dynamic and passionate story reflecting her travels and experience.  With grace, humor and memorable stories, she reaches into the hearts of her audience to remind them that they too can accomplish the extraordinary.
