Arts Council of Lake Oswego & The Wetlands Conservancy present Beaver Tales
To celebrate International Beaver Day, the Arts Council of Lake Oswego is teaming up with The Wetlands Conservancy to launch the second exhibit featuring beavers in their habitat, which runs from April 7 to April 28 at 510 Museum & ARTspace. A “First Friday” opening will be held April 7th, from 5 to 7 PM. This traveling exhibit includes artwork of all kinds, from paintings to fiber, and wood to ceramics. With regional and local artists displaying their work, this stop in Lake Oswego will bring together a multitude of styles and creativity. This exhibit will feature original juried art for purchase, as well as prints and cards with beaver/wetland images, all benefitting The Wetlands Conservancy and the Arts Council. Other activities will be taking place throughout the month including watercolor workshops, movies and story time for children. Please check the ACLO website at www.artscouncillo.org. Arts Council of Lake Oswego’s 510 Museum & ARTspace is located at 510 1st Street, Lake Oswego, OR 97034. For more information visit www.artscouncillo.org or call 503-675-3738.
