Ladies Who Brunch Charity Fashion Show
Celebrating the peak of spring fashion, Bridgeport Village hosts the fourth annual Ladies Who Brunch charity fashion show on Sunday, May 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. All proceeds benefit Women of Meridian Park in supporting care and comfort for breast cancer patients at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center. Hosted by radio and television personality Byron Beck, the event takes place at Twigs Bistro & Martini Bar in the heart of Bridgeport Village Mall. More than a dozen stores will showcase their freshest, sharpest designs available this season for purchase. ?We are taking the event to new heights this year,? said Beck. ?The energy at this fashion show will be explosive.? In addition to models walking the runway, the event offers ticket holders a full brunch, swag bags filled with fashion offers & merchandise, a beauty and accessory bar, a deluxe photo booth, raffle prizes and a silent auction. Fashion show and beauty retailers include Bluemercury, Charming Charlie, Eileen Fisher, Francesca?s Collections, Janelle James Boutique, Lucy Activewear, Mapel Boutique, Mario?s, Nashelle Jewelry, New Balance, Rachelle M. Rustic House of Fashion, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th and Soft Surroundings. "This is the most impressive lineup in the history of this event," said Ladies Who Brunch Fashion Show Director Keri Atkins. "The colors, fabrics and designs will capture the imagination of everyone who attends." Raffle prizes for the event include gift cards at Bridgeport Village retailers and restaurants, beauty and makeover packages and movie passes. Silent auction items include a clothing shopping spree, a night at the Grand Hotel with dining & shopping vouchers, a year supply of movie tickets, concert tickets and a deluxe wine tour. No donation is too big or too small.? Celebrated local photographer Hal Harrison plans to publish portraits of the Ladies Who Brunch models at Rose City Photography. "For Oregon, this show offers the hottest off the rack fashions available," said Harrison. "I plan to capture these extraordinary designs for the entire region to enjoy." Ladies Who Brunch co-sponsor The Nature Conservancy will unveil a special work of art by designer Nancy Judd commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Cascade Head Preserve at the Oregon Coast. ?Her work is breathtaking,? said Atkins. ?This promises to be a highlight of the show.? ?This event becomes more successful every year,? said Blue. ?We care deeply about the Women of Meridian Park and we could not be prouder of our participation in this fundraiser.
