AAUW Lake Oswego: Sherwood Police Chief Jeff Groth
Free, online Zoom meeting on January 9, 2021 at 9:30 for Social, 10:00 Program. Jeff Groth, Sherwood Chief of Police, will discuss the establishment of a thriving police agency which has community support. The key is using a relational policing/community policing model. Chief Groth began his law enforcement career as an Oregon State Police Cadet in 1987. Since then he has served in multiple agencies in various capacities which have led to his selection as Sherwood Chief of Police in 2008. He has also served as the President for the Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police. Come and hear about relational/community policing. The public is invited to this free Zoom presentation.
