Jingle & Swing City of Lake Oswego Holiday Concert
The City of Lake Oswego’s Holiday Concert-Jingle and Swing will transport audiences to the early days of 1930's jazz, when hep cat swing had its heyday, 78 rpm records were cut live on radio shows, and musicians like Nat King Cole, The Boswell Sisters, Duke Ellington, The Dorsey Brothers and Cab Calloway owned the day. A sparkling cast of local NW swing luminaries will lead the vintage holiday charge, including Pete Krebs, multi-instrumentalist Casey MacGill (from Seattle), members of The Stolen Sweets, cabaret sweetheart Pink Lady and light-as-air swing dancers Melissa Roane and Colin Livesay. Join us for a festive evening of music on Saturday, December 16, 7pm-9pm at Lakeridge High School Auditorium (1235 Overlook Drive, Lake Oswego). Proceeds benefit the Lake Oswego Adult Community Center. To purchase a general admission ticket, visit www.lakeoswego.city/holidayconcert or call 503-675-2549. $23 for adults; $15 for youth (0-12 yrs).
